Common issues
Flattened lid gasket
Constant lid contact compresses the foam-core gasket on the rail, so the pan well no longer seals.
Fix: Replace the lid gasket; check the lid hinge so it seats evenly across the rail.
Drawer gasket tearing
Prep-table drawer gaskets see heavy daily cycling and tear at the corners before the main door does.
Fix: Replace the affected drawer gaskets and verify each drawer closes square.
Cutting-board rail condensation
A leaking base-cabinet door gasket lets warm air in and sweats along the cold rail under the boards.
Fix: Reseal the base door; confirm the rail holds temp after the swap.
FAQ
Most sandwich prep table door gaskets run $150–$350 installed, depending on door count and size. We estimate first from the brand and model number, then schedule same-day or next-day for stocked sizes.
All of them — including Duke, Delfield, True, Beverage-Air. We carry common sizes on the truck and cut the rest on-site from extrusion stock, so brand or age is never a blocker.
Sweating or condensation around the door, ice buildup, a gasket that's torn, hardened, or won't pass a dollar-bill test, and a unit working harder to hold temperature all point to a failed seal. Send a photo of a torn corner and we'll confirm.
